Este año nuestro colegio participó por primera vez en un concurso internacional de desafíos matemáticos organizados por Marshall Cavendish Institute, líder mundial en la enseñanza de las matemáticas. El concurso consistió en contestar diferentes desafíos matemáticos desde 1° a 6° básico y tuvo la participación de 108 estudiantes, quienes durante los meses de agosto y septiembre resolvieron entretenidos problemas matemáticos junto a alumnos y alumnas de distintas partes del mundo.
Para el orgullo de toda la Comunidad Andreína… ¡Tenemos ganadores en todos los niveles! Y tres de nuestros estudiantes de 1° y 2° básico se posicionaron entre los 15 primeros lugares del mundo.

Q. What made you want to join the MCE Maths Genius Challenge?
A. I joined the Challenge because I know a lot of Maths.

A. It feels good because at the beginning I had some troubles, but after a while it was fun.
Q. What was your favourite part of the MCE Maths Genius Challenge?
A. My favourite part was finding the patterns.
Q. What is one thing you learned from the MCE Maths Genius Challenge?
A. I learnt another thing about Maths, like solving different kinds of problems.

A. I like Patterns, those are my favourites.

A. I joined the Challenge because I like Maths.

A. It feels good because I had a great time solving the Challenge.
Q. What was your favourite part of the MCE Maths Genius Challenge?
A. My favourite part was the whole Challenge! because I encouraged myself to solve it.
Q. What is one thing you learned from the MCE Maths Genius Challenge?
A. I learnt more about Maths, how to solve problems and how to add three-digit numbers. Before the Challenge I only knew how to add two-digit numbers.

A. I love patterns, I like to think and discover them.

A. My favourite part was when I started the Challenge because I felt incredibly happy.

A. I learned that I could trust myself even if something is difficult.
