Collaborative Alliance between the University of Idaho and Andrée English School
In April 2024, Andrée English School and the University of Idaho signed an agreement which consists of collaborating on programs and activities involving basic and applied research, education and training, and technology and information transfer, which will enhance the programs of each institution.
For our school, and specifically for our Senior School students, this alliance will bring important benefits, such as:
- Academic/expert guest lectures from the University of Idaho on a variety of academic subjects. These lectures will be taught either online or face-to-face depending on the availability of the professors.
- Financial education sessions to be provided by the University of Idaho.
- Pathway/application information sessions to be delivered by Boise Discovery &/or University of Idaho.
- Students from Andrée English School are eligible for an Invitation to Idaho tuition scholarship if they meet the scholarship requirements.
- Students from Andrée English School are eligible for the ALCP tuition scholarship if they meet the scholarship requirements.
All students who hold a GPA (NEM) of 6.0 or higher are eligible for these scholarships. However, in order to be accepted, students also need to demonstrate community involvement, leadership skills, a successful academic trajectory, and English proficiency at a B2 level or higher. Since our school certifies its students’ level of English with Cambridge Assessment examinations, this requirement is generally met, as the University of Idaho accepts Cambridge exams as proof of English proficiency.
In addition to all of these benefits, this alliance also involves collaboration with Boise Discovery, which is an agency dedicated to helping students in their pathway or application process to the university, visa requirements and application, and settlement process. Due to this collaboration agreement, their valuable assistance is free of charge for students from Andrée English School.

Alianza colaborativa entre la Universidad de Idaho y Andrée English School
En abril de 2024, nuestro colegio y la Universidad de Idaho firmaron un acuerdo para colaborar en programas y actividades que involucren investigación básica y aplicada, educación y capacitación, y transferencia de tecnología e información, lo que enriquecerá la oferta educativa de ambas instituciones.
Para nuestro colegio, y específicamente para nuestros estudiantes de Senior School, esta alianza traerá importantes beneficios, tales como:
- Cátedras invitadas de académicos y expertos de la Universidad de Idaho sobre diversas materias académicas. Estas cátedras se dictarán de forma virtual o presencial, dependiendo de la disponibilidad de los profesores.
- Sesiones de educación financiera proporcionadas por la Universidad de Idaho.
- Sesiones informativas sobre pathways/postulaciones a cargo de Boise Discovery y/o la Universidad de Idaho.
- Los estudiantes de Andrée English School son elegibles para la beca Invitation to Idaho si cumplen con los requisitos del programa.
- Los estudiantes de Andrée English School son elegibles para la beca ALCP si cumplen con los requisitos del programa.
Todos los estudiantes con un promedio de calificaciones (NEM) de 6.0 o superior son elegibles para estas becas. Sin embargo, para ser aceptados, los estudiantes también deberán demostrar participación en la comunidad, habilidades de liderazgo, una trayectoria académica exitosa y dominio del inglés a un nivel B2 o superior. Dado que nuestro colegio certifica el nivel de inglés los estudiantes mediante exámenes de Cambridge Assessment, este requisito generalmente se cumple, ya que la Universidad de Idaho acepta los exámenes de Cambridge como prueba de dominio del inglés.
Además de todos estos beneficios, esta alianza también implica la colaboración con Boise Discovery, una agencia dedicada a ayudar a los estudiantes en su proceso de pathway o postulación a la universidad, requisitos y solicitud de visas, y proceso de adaptación. Gracias a este acuerdo de colaboración, su valiosa asistencia es gratuita para nuestros estudiantes.
